Muslim Youth Summer Festival

Today The fig Network was one of the clues given to youth taking part in the muslim youth summer festival which was exceptionally well organised and thought out by Roshaan Misbach and her team. Youth took part in a car rally which was an amazing race and had to buy stationery to donate to the needy. They were also cleaning at a orphanage prior to their stationery drop off.

I stand and look at the stationery these youth brought and a sense of inspiration overwhelms me. Inspiration and hope for our youth. We hear about  all the bad things "the youth' is doing and today I was witness to the many good things they are doing. For not only were they getting stationery and as part of a race to complete but are learning so many great lessons whilst they are doing so.

Speaking to some of the youth that I met today, it was apparent  that they were very proud of their Muslim Identity. Many of them were studying the Quran and some enrolled to in 2011 to do so. Masha-Allah.

Well done to all those who took part in this. It was really an excellent idea. Jazaakallah Khayran to all the youth who bought and dropped off stationery. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will put smiles on the faces of those who is looking forward to receiving your donations insha-Allah.

May Allah SWT reward you all abundantly for your efforts insha-Allah.

Keep up the good work.
